Getting used to Sydney like never before, eluding divulging silence in my heart, freeing myself off inhibitions; I was flying across seven seas. Well, I didn't mean to sound that poetic ;) It is just that the world is celebrating V-day and the fever has gotten into me.
Coming back to my Sydney Boomerang
series… (Find a recap here)
When I landed in Sydney, I almost
forgot about the fact that I am in Australia; a place known for the most
pristine landscapes in the world. It also is home for some beautiful animals -
If someone asks me what I love about Sydney, I’d say Kangaroos and Koalas. On
second thought, why leave out little Wombats, Possums and Wallabies, they are
cute ones too, right?!.
A
Joey says”Hi” At Featherdale Wildlife Park, Sydney
Hello there! |
It
was a scorching summer day, perfect nevertheless for a trip around the city and
we headed to the Featherdale park in Sydney. I was lucky to see
some friendly animals native to Australia here. I remember when I took
a newborn Joey in my hands which is by far the most amazing
experience and I literally wept later thinking about it. This place is just
magical the settings are perfect; the attention to detail is amazing, the
animals you get to see are unique and leave you amazed in the way they are let
out in the open.
Marsupial Paradise
I
always wondered how love can be defined physically and God gave me the answer –
Marsupials. They carry their fragile young ones in their pouch as they give
birth at a very early stage. This is how nature defines love and I am thrilled
every time I think about that experience at Featherdale Wildlife Park.
Here are some Pictures taken by me in the park:
This experience left me with having a profound sense of attachment and respect for wild animals.
Thank You, Sydney!
